Catching up!

I have never been very good at keeping up with blogs. I'm so sorry about that! Today is New Years Eve and in the early morning hours of New Years Day, you will board your first ever flight to Mexico! We are going to see your grandparents who have been living there a little over a year now. Below are some photos of happenings since my last post.

9 months!!

Where has time gone?? You had your 9 month appt today and you are growing so big and strong baby girl!! So full of energy and life and learning new things every day.

You are beautiful...

In conversation with a friend today (also the woman who took photos of your birth) I told her she was beautiful. She responded by saying "Thanks I feel the same about you" to which I replied "Thanks! I feel that way about me too most of the time."

I hope you always know that you are beautiful but there will be times when what others say and what society says don't allow you to feel that way. Mostly I hope you can get to a point in life where you can look in the mirror and truly believe you are beautiful inside and out. It took me a long time but at a young 25 years old I am so thankful I know that about myself. I am confident, I am beautiful, and I will continue believing that forever on!

After all, how could you argue with our beauty?

8 months!

Lita,

You are 8 months old today!! Where have these past 8 months gone??? You are staying busy pulling yourself up on everything, crawling like crazy, and making fun noises. Our hearts grow with more love for you each and every day!

The Climb

We went on a run today. You, your papa, and myself. You threw a fit half way into our run and needed to be carried the rest of the way. This is a picture of you after you calmed down a bit and started enjoying our run turned into a walk. We love you, our spoiled little love!

This post is titled "The Climb" because before you threw your little tantrum that song came on. I will post the video in a future post. It is one of my favorite motivating songs when I need a little pick up in life.

My Wish

Lita Bear, 

You're 7 months old now and I am just sitting down to begin this blog. These past 7 months have flown by so fast it's unbelievable! While working out today, the song "My Wish" by Rascal Flatts came on. It gets me every time. When you were just a few months old I would crank this song and we would dance, tears streaming down my face because this song just says it all. Please watch the video and listen closely to the lyrics- it is so true of what I wish for you. Baby girl you deserve the world, please don't ever forget that.
